Junior Counselors

Attention upperclassmen high schoolers seeking a transformative summer experience! Camp Horizon is excited to offer a unique opportunity for Junior Counselors (JCs) to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of camp life.

During this four-week internship, JCs will dive into the heart of camp counselor life. From assisting with meal prep and clean-up in the kitchen to helping set up and tear down activities throughout the camp, JCs will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the camp.

But it's not just about the practical tasks. JCs will have the chance to connect with campers on a deeper level, staying in the cabins with them, leading choice time activities, and investing in their spiritual growth through Bible studies and devotions.

What sets this internship apart is the built-in leadership training and spiritual guidance woven into each day. JCs will receive education and techniques to complement their hands-on experience, equipping them with valuable skills for their future endeavors.
