EMLC Grant

We believe Summer Camp is for everyone. Sometimes finances can be barrier for families.  Below are several aid opportunities for families that need financial assistance.  Please review the options below to see what you qualify for.

EMLC - Ethnic Minority Leadership Church Grant

In 1984, money was set aside by the former United Methodist Kansas East Conference to strengthen ethnic minority churches, pastors, and laity.  The investment has grown and recently has been opened to Camp Horizon. 

• Who’s eligible?

  • Anyone who self identifies as an ethnic minority is eligible (ex. African American, Asian American, Hispanic, Latino, Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaskan Native, or Other).

• How much can I apply for?

  • 100% of the cost of camp is covered!

• How do I apply?

  • No application is required for this grant.  If you self-identify as an ethnic minority, just use the code “EMLC” as the discount code during registration.

• Can I apply for more than 1 session?

  • No, this grant is a one-time use.

• Can I apply for other grants/scholarships as well?

  • No need, this covers the full cost of camp!
